TEXAS RACE
Sunday: The race on Sunday was not the season ending we were all hoping for, but it was a solid finish. Dealing with a heavy push, Sarah and the SmartBlade / Dreyer & Reinbold team kept plugging away to finish just 1 spot out of the top 10. Again Sarah stated how happy she has been with the environment she has had this season. "We are working hard to keep this thing together for next year, these are great people on this team."

Saturday: Sarah qualified 9th for Sundays race with a speed of 218.65. This will put her on the inside of the 5th row. Sarah " This track has two apexes on the front stretch, in coming down, I was ducking. I tagged the grass just a little bit, but it didn't hurt our time, so we were fine. We were just trying to give every effort. We were flat. The car was a little bit loose. Perfect car, perfect line, that's all she had. I think the race tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun."
Friday: Sarah
was running about 5th quick with a 219 + in the first practice on Friday.  A leak in the seam of her oil tank kept her out of the second practice.  Dave Fisher, Sarah's dad welded it and she should be back on the track Saturday for practice any qualifying.
