SARAH FISHER (No. 23 Team GM Upromise/Raybestos Dallara/Chevrolet/Firestone):
“The car is completely different now from when we tested here. We’ve
evolved from our starting point of finding the fine line between push
and loose. In the second session, we were able to get up to speed in
about 10 laps. It was just a matter of adapting to track and temperature
changes.” |

GM and Upromise, an innovative service
that enables families to fund higher education, will sponsor the No. 23
Team GM Upromise/Raybestos Dallara/Chevrolet/Firestone driven by Sarah
Fisher at the Purex Dial Indy 200. GM and Upromise join Raybestos and
WeGotGear in support of Fisher's drive for victory in the second round
of the IndyCar Series.
Launched in 2001, Upromise is a free
service that helps hundreds of America's leading companies give families
money back for college. Upromise members earn rebates automatically when
they shop at tens of thousands of participating retail locations,
grocery and drug stores and restaurants. Upromise collects the member's
rebates and helps the member invest those savings in tax-advantaged
college savings plans. Additional information is available at
www.Upromise.com.
General Motors is the exclusive
automotive participant with Upromise and serves as one of its
cornerstone partners. Their combined efforts work to communicate
participating products/services to GM's vast network of customers and
further educate the public on the importance of college savings plans.
"It's great that GM and Upromise have
stepped up to help our team get to Phoenix this weekend and that they
also share my beliefs in the importance of a college education.
Hopefully our team's association with Upromise will raise awareness
about the importance of saving for college and encourage more families
to get started." said Sarah. |
